Chinese delegation at the faculty of Law

Our partnership with this Law School in Bejing began through the China-EU School of Law (CESL) consortium, founded in 2008 as a joint initiative of the Chinese state and the EU Comission, thanks to which we have been accepting Chinese students for many years who spend a semester in Budapest attending our English language courses, as part of their international law master's program at the University of Hamburg.

In 2024, we expanded the cooperation with CUPL to direct student exchange, so from now on, two of our students will have the opportunity to spend a full semester in Beijing with scholarship support.

The Chinese delegation visiting our faculty was led by Professor XU Shenjian, the dean of the School of Juris Master. At the meeting, we discussed further possible directions of educational cooperation, especially in the field of the soon-to-be-introduced micro-credential courses and English-language LL.Ms.
