My main research interests are in the field of municipal administration and the provision of public services, in particular welfare (social and health) services. In this context, I also examine regional development issues and analyse social law issues related to welfare public services in a broader context. In recent years, my work has also focused on the digital provision of public services.

Issues on disability have been an important area of research for me since the beginning of my career. My research has focused on the legal status of people with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities, particularly the public and partially the private law legislation applicable to them. An important tíresearch field is the analysisi of the regulatory framework for welfare services for people with disabilities. The mainstreaming of disability in different sectors of public administration is also an important element of my research.
