In 2023, the Department of Civil Law launched the Attila Harmathy Memorial Lecture series, paying tribute to the work of Professor Attila Harmathy, who passed away in 2022.

This year, Professor Helmut Koziol will deliver his lecture titled Bad Luck and Liability for Harm.
