ELTE Law Journal Q3 besorolás

The Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd University has received yet another significant international professional recognition: according to the latest rankings, the institution’s English-language academic journal, the ELTE Law Journal, has been awarded a Q3 rank in the SCImago ranking based on Elsevier’s SCOPUS database.

The Q3 rank marks an important milestone in the journal’s history, clearly signaling the strengthening of ELTE’s Faculty of Law’s international academic presence. The Q rating is a key indicator of visibility and citation rates in the international academic sphere, so this result serves as a significant validation of the journal’s professional performance.

The mission of the ELTE Law Journal is to address the most current issues in legal scholarship from an international perspective and to provide a platform for both domestic and foreign researchers. The journal consistently strives to build a bridge between Hungarian and international legal scholarship, thereby contributing to the enrichment of scholarly discourse on a global level.

The Q3 rank is important feedback regarding the journal’s academic visibility and international integration, and it also serves as recognition of the editorial and authorial work that ensures the journal’s high professional standards.

The ELTE Law Journal has been published twice a year since 2013, with the aim of publishing current studies of international interest in various fields of legal scholarship, including constitutional law, international law, European law, criminal law, and private law. The rank achieved now is not only a recognition of the journal’s achievements to date, but also an incentive for further development and for further strengthening its international visibility and impact.
